AI rises to the occasion,
even for a luxury brand.

In early 2025, Google launched its game-changing Veo 2: at the time, the most powerful generative video technology available.

But, the constant advances in AI were making it hard to know what was possible from one day to the next, an important context to consider for this work.

Google needed to showcase what was possible with Veo 2 by making an “impossible” ad in just four weeks using the technology. And while there had already been plenty of tinkering with generative video tools, no one had actually put it to the test of luxury brand standards.

From the Mountains to the City
Google x Moncler

To pull this off, we developed ShotFlow, a custom creative command center powered by Gemini, orchestrating Veo’s outputs with cinematic precision. This allowed for more consistent storytelling at a time when Nano Banana didn’t even exist.

The result was a seamless, visually rich film that captured Moncler’s journey from alpine heritage to urban culture. Premiered at Google Marketing Live, the work showed how AI can extend human craft, setting a new benchmark for generative filmmaking.

Using its suite of AI tools, Google created a film for Moncler that was way ahead of its time.
